Domainfest Global hosted it's annual conference last week and included an audience of more than 650 of the world's top domainers, including Credit.com. Ask.com, Bank of America, Fortune Magazine, Google, Microsoft, Yahoo! and Zappos.com were just a few of the big names in attendance.
Rory Holland, COO of Credit.com, was invited to participate as an expert panelist in the "Turning Killer Domain Names Into Killer Websites" session and represented Credit.com as the leader in our niche for attracting traffic and generating revenue.

The conference provided great exposure for all of the exciting things we're doing at Credit.com and gave us an opportunity to share the work we're doing with the Credit Report Card and our affiliate program.

Four contestants competed for a chance to win the prize of "Best Domain Monetization", including RootOrange.com, Skinected.com, RapidDomainBuilder.com and DeveRich.com. There were two winners in this contest: RapidDomainBuilder.com was the judges choice and RootOrange.com won the audience's vote.
Session 2 - New gTLDs: Bonanza or Bust?
This session discussed the new gTLDs (global top-level domains) that ICANN plans to roll out later this year and how they'll affect current domain investment strategies.
Fireside Chat with Tony Hsieh, Zappos.com CEO
Jeff Kupietzky, CEO of Oversee.net, interviewed Zappos.com founder Tony Hsieh. Tony is a 36-year-old Harvard graduate who sold his first company, LinkExchange, to Microsoft for $256M back in 1998 and later started up Zappos.com and sold it to Amazon for $850M last summer.
Session 3 - Turning Killer Domain Names Into Killer Websites
Rory Holland represented Credit.com as one of the expert panelist who presented examples of websites that lead their niches in attracting traffic and generating revenue. In this session the panelist shared their thoughts and best practices on what it takes to make their websites successful.
Session 4 - Domain Names: How Prime Internet Real Estate Builds SEO and SEM Success
In this session panelist shared their real life examples of how the right domain names can make a big difference in SEO and SEM results.
Session 5 - LAUNCHfest Contest
Contestants were given an opportunity to pitch their own website development and launch plan for one of the ten premium domain name selections. (Click here to see the list).
